- When an installation is carried out by The Lawn Co, the customer accepts and agrees that the driveway or property is capable of withstanding both the weight of any delivering vehicle, our vehicle and the products to be installed. In all circumstances the customer must accept responsibility to provide an adequate and safe area free from unloading restrictions for our employees to carry out their tasks in safety. (Parking tickets issued because of failure to meet this criteria must be paid by the customer).
- If an installation is carried out and The Lawn Co have not been advised of access difficulties, an additional charge may be incurred by the customer.
- Turf supplied and fitted is at the customer’s risk after final completion of the works. After this time, the company will have no further liability for the turf or for any loss or damages connected with its use.
- Any turf specifications, formulations, data, literature and statements as to seed content, seed weight, seed ratio, grass ratios, seed and grass species, suitability, performance, or otherwise, issued and descriptions and samples given by us in connection with turf are offered in good faith but are intended to be approximate only, due to the nature of turf as a natural growing product easily affected by uncontrollable conditions; therefore these shall not constitute representations nor shall they become warranties or conditions of the contract. It is also worth mentioning that as both the ‘Landscape Plus’ and the ‘Drought Tolerant’ products are grown on heavier soils, they can appear extremely dry on delivery in the Summer months. Please note that this is just on the outside of the stacks, the turf will have internal moisture at the time of delivery.
- Our turf is grown in a variety of locations. Although most stone content is buried during preparatory stages, we cannot be held responsible for excessive stone content. Stones will not prevent your lawn from taking or from you enjoying use of your new lawn.
- If any type of turf is unavailable for any reason on commencement of your installation, The Lawn Company reserves the right to exchange the turf for a suitable substitute at our discrepancy.
- Customers agree to be present on completion of any works
- On signing off the project, it is established that these terms and conditions have been read and accepted, that you the customer, are entirely happy with the products and services provided by this company, and that the Lawn Company is discharged from any liability, for any deterioration of the lawn after this. The Lawn Company will charge accordingly if for any reason further visits are needed, so it is important that you are entirely happy with things when signing off the project. Payment is due in full on completion. Please note that if for any reason you are absent on the completion day, and unable to sign, – this is a breach of our terms, and it will be deemed that you were happy with all works/products supplied
